Nanou2

Here is something a bit different.

JOhn The Baptist has composed a new remix of Aphex Twin's Nanou 2.

Really chilled out beat along with the classic piano line.

great music to listen to on the first train home with a greasy kebab and a banging headache.

First Post!

Alright Guys how are we all doing? We've recently got this blogspot under construction so instead of doing a blog that just says 'test' (as I am useless at this at the moment!) I thought I should write about something a bit more meaningful.

Basically If you don't know what we're all about I'll tell you...
Ramadance is a new alternative dance night based in Southend-On-Sea hosted by the Railway Hotel (which is gradually becoming one of the top music venues in the seaside town), we focus on promoting the best upcoming acts as well as top DJs from southend itself. We mainly stick to Dubstep, Fidget House, Electro and anything with lots of bass.

So if you live in the south east of england or you live far away and think this is the thing for you then please come to our next event which is....

Friday 4th December

Ramadance...  featuring 'The Boog-A-Loo Crew'.

Back for another party upstairs at the Railway Hotel! This time...with two rooms and a later license!

This time we see 'The Boog-A-Loo Crew' (Trouble Vision) take to the stage.
Keep an eye out for these guys, already playing shows with big names such as Benga, Skream, Brodinski and DJ Zinc there is a very positive future in store for them.

Check out some of thier tunes on their myspace below:

Well Last month Freeza And BB Manik really blew us away with their set, so we welcome Freeza back again this month to show us his more chilled out side in room 2.

It wouldn't be Ramadance without our resident DJs, 'Dis Jakey'. Have a listen to their exclusive tracks and mixes here:

http://www.myspace.com/disjakey

New to Ramadance, we have local DJ 'A Plus' performing with 'Jay On Drums' with their mix of house and live percussion. These guys prove to be a very exciting duo.

last but by no means least we welcome 50019208 to perform his own tracks in room 2. This guy is the one to see for fans of artists like 'Burial', 'Conquest' etc.

Have a listen to 50019208 here:
http://www.myspace.com/5001920809

As well as these great acts there will also be local DJs such as Samuel J Atkins, Damo, and MAFF:YOU DJing throughout the night.

all in all this proves to be a great party not to be missed.

Ramadance drink deals on the upstairs bar:

2 house doubles for a fiver :)

See You On The 4th December!
